The school is pretty in itself, and offers fun times for the student. However the funding is only allocated to specific programs leaving others to be less diversified and applied.
More importantly the student health services are completely incompetent and ignorant. The only way to get treated is to make an appointment so far in advance, and even then it depends on wether they call you or not.
They refuse to treat any walk in situations, and where liability and legal issues makes sense to have to abide by, it is completely absurd to refuse to give a ice pack and or a wash clothe to a burn victim. There is no reason that they should be able to turn down such a simple request especially when the students tuition is part of what’s funding this service.

Vendors represent local farmers and artisans selling homegrown produce, locally sourced meats, honey, flowers, handmade items, pickles, flavored salts, and spices among other things. This week (October 22, 2020) we purchased yellow squash and fresh tomatoes from Smiths Farms, dried jalapeño sea salt and ghost pepper sea salt (amazing flavor for veggies and grilled meat) from Bull City Botanicals (soon to be called Woodlawn Roots @woodlawnroots on Instagram) and Sourwood honey from a local beekeeper. There is plenty of green space for College life experience without having a City or community intertwined but close enough to 2 larger cities, Greensboro and Raleigh. The faculty are well educated and very good at leading this group of young adults into the workplace and world.
