Review for Elon University Farmers Market held on Thursdays The farmers market is held from 3:00- 6:30 on Thursdays in the parking at West Haggard Ave. and South Williamson. Vendors represent local farmers and artisans selling homegrown produce, locally sourced meats, honey, flowers, handmade items, pickles, flavored salts, and spices among other things. This week (October 22, 2020) we purchased yellow squash and fresh tomatoes from Smiths Farms, dried jalapeño sea salt and ghost pepper sea salt (amazing flavor for veggies and grilled meat) from Bull City Botanicals (soon to be called Woodlawn Roots @woodlawnroots on Instagram) and Sourwood honey from a local beekeeper. All of the vendors were friendly and willing to talk about their products, businesses, and passion for what they sold. It was a fun shopping experience, and we will go again!

The school is pretty in itself, and offers fun times for the student. However the funding is only allocated to specific programs leaving others to be less diversified and applied.

More importantly the student health services are completely incompetent and ignorant. The only way to get treated is to make an appointment so far in advance, and even then it depends on wether they call you or not.

They refuse to treat any walk in situations, and where liability and legal issues makes sense to have to abide by, it is completely absurd to refuse to give a ice pack and or a wash clothe to a burn victim. There is no reason that they should be able to turn down such a simple request especially when the students tuition is part of what’s funding this service.

In any university or college setting the students health should be a main priority, and it seems that these individuals working the health center are more worried about what their bosses told them as opposed to common...

Academically it's a Ivy League competitor! The campus is well designed, manicured and comfortably built for living. There is plenty of green space for College life experience without having a City or community intertwined but close enough to 2 larger cities, Greensboro and Raleigh. The faculty are well educated and very good at leading this group of young adults into the workplace and world. There's an emphasis on Study Abroad and allows the students to explore the world in a safe learning environment! Once you get to explore what this location has to offer it's extremely difficult to consider any other option, seriously the University...
