TANGENT Eat+Bar — Restaurant in Elon

Staff weren't very nice, but not rude. The wait time was abysmally long and when I did get my food, I had gotten the wrong taco. (I had ordered a spicy fried catfish and fried green tomato) Instead of the fired green tomato, I received a Korean taco. Since the wait time was so long I decided to just go with it because I was very hungry and was getting impatient, and I'm happy I did!

The tacos were absolutely phenomenal. The catfish was perfectly cooked to the point it felt like I was biting into butter! thats how tender it was! They had the perfect amount of sauce, it was seasoned perfectly, and the tortillas were amazing.

The Korean taco's beef was amazing and sweet, topped with fresh jalapeños, it was absolutely perfect! I also really like the tables, they were maps of north Carolina, south Carolina, and part of Virginia. Me and my older sister really enjoyed finding our hometown and some of our favorite spots to visit. It helped a lot with the wait time.

It was PACKED when we walked in, so we got our food to go since we couldn't find a seat. As we were waiting, we found a seat. We got our food and started to eat and then we were told that we couldn't stay because we got our food to go. Ridiculous. We were told that if we had ordered to eat in, we would've been guaranteed a seat🙄😑. Not sure how that works when there were literally people standing everywhere when we walked in. The most bizarre rule. Also, there was barely enough time to look at the menu before we had to order, so forget looking at anything else like the rule board. And if they are going to keep that rule, then they should also have a time limit for everyone. Also, the parking was insane. The food was good, but not worth the stress of...
