Mackay Ice Rink — Attraction in Englewood

Stay away! This place is poorly kept and managed. We were invited to a kids event at this place. However, the gps had sent us to the wrong location. Once we called them to ask for directions, they simply said “ No! We can’t help you with directions” and hung up the phone! We were shocked and thought it was a mistake. We then called again and got the same reaction and the phone was slammed. Upon arrival we have approached the management to advise on the poor customer service of the front desk. To our surprise, the person who answered the phone was the ... OWNER! He didn’t even bother apologizing and instead said in front of all if you don’t leave I’ll call the cops! Outrageous and disgusting And that’s just the front desk, what would that make us think about the way they keep the place and how safe are our children when they skate there?? That was the first and the last time we will ever go to #TetrisICErink...

The staff is friendly and the cost is reasonable. Sunday open skating from 2:00 to 5:00 PM is not too crowded. The rink is fairly large, so you do not run into other skaters. There is plently of free parking in the parking lot. All in all, this is a great rink for a family outing. My preschoolers enjoy their time on the ice, as do my elementary school kids and my teenagers. What more...

This ice rink will be closed after last Sunday, probably reopening in October. It's not a full indoor rink, so they close it during hot seasons. It's where my daughter takes lessons and enjoys happy times with friends. The staff is friendly, and you meet nice people there. Highly recommended. Thank you all the staff!...
