3.5 Stars (Rounded Up to 4) I recently visited Caldera at Vida twice in one week, and overall, it was a good experience. While there were a few minor issues, I felt they didn't warrant bringing the rating down to a 3, so I'm giving it a 4.The service was generally excellent—security, servers, and bartenders were all on point. We first came on a Saturday and were impressed enough to return the following Friday. However, the hookah service was a bit slow both times, which slightly impacted the experience. On our first visit, we ordered the fresh fruit hookah, but it turned out to be more of a show than anything else. It’s definitely overrated, and after that, we decided to stick with the regular hookah on our second visit, which was a much better choice. The drinks were definitely a highlight; my wife loved them both times, and the bartenders deserve credit for that. As for the food, the only downside was that oysters weren’t available on our first visit, but when they were on the menu the second time, they were great. In summary, Caldera at Vida has a lot going for it, and while there are some areas for improvement, it’s still a spot worth visiting. I’m giving it a 4 because it doesn’t quite deserve to be brought down to a 3.

Had a decent experience here celebrating a birthday. Food was solid, but the drinks were the real stars. Service was spotty. You can tell the server was trying, but it group was too large for one server. They collected utensils after every course but then forgot to bring fresh cutlery for the next round. Food would arrive without cutlery in sight. The dj played decent sets to liven the mood. Hookah was a nice addition to the experience. May need a do over.

First time dining in here and the place is pretty impressive they have a nice decoration all over the food is ok it’s pricey for a little serving, we love the hookah flavor variety and the drinks, we are hoping for the Lebanese performance but didn’t get a chance to see that Friday night, valet parking is a plus for this area specifically on the weekends. We definitely coming back to check upper floor n stay time.

I recently visited Caldera at Vida for my birthday with a group of six. While the atmosphere, décor, and music were enjoyable, the overall experience left much to be desired.

First, their website provides very little information about what’s included in their packages. I tried calling multiple times at different times of the day and even sent a message through OpenTable, but never received a response. This lack of communication made it difficult to plan properly.

When we arrived, we were seated promptly, but since two people in our party couldn’t make it due to the weather, they moved us to a much smaller table—even though our original table remained empty the entire evening. It felt unnecessary and made dining uncomfortable.

The billing was another issue. We initially booked for four open bar and four regular, but we updated it to four open bar and two regular. However, when we got the bill, we were charged for five open bar and one regular. Additionally, the "open bar" is misleading—it only includes a small selection of four or five cocktails, not a true open bar.

Another unexpected charge: they brought water to the table without us asking and didn’t mention that it would be billed. These kinds of hidden charges should be disclosed upfront.

As for the food, it was underwhelming. We had the calamari and empanadas as appetizers and the lomo saltado for our entrées, and it was all overly salty and just not enjoyable. We originally wanted to order baklava for dessert, but were told it wasn’t available, so we went with the tres leches instead.

The staff was a bit dismissive and seemed to have an attitude at times, which added to the overall disappointment.

Overall, while the ambiance is great, the lack of transparency, billing issues, and mediocre food means I probably won’t return. If they improve their communication, customer service, and clarify their pricing, they could create a much better dining experience to match the...

Went here for a birthday dinner. I’m happy they changed the name and setting because vida garden was a terrible spot. The ambience here is much more beautiful and cozy so 2 stars for that. Music was good- throwback songs were great. Unfortunately that’s the only good part I have to say. Party got there for the reservation time which was 9. Didn’t get our drinks until 10:05 I’m not exaggerating either. We were all so angry and confused because it wasn’t even that busy. Food was alright. Service was extremely slow. We had open bar but when the bill came there were a few drinks that I guess weren’t included in the open bar so that was annoying that we weren’t told that in advanced. Hookah was SUPER expensive! Over $300 for 3 hookahs and 2 refills for each Hookahs only lasted 30 min which is why we had to keep getting refills so often, that was annoying. Maybe they do this on purpose. We all just wanted to leave and told the server we were annoyed that everything was taking so long. We asked for check and they brought out finally our champagne bottle and a round of free house tequila shots which was a nice gesture but at this point we were just annoyed that everything took so long, food was alright and could only get a couple drinks in. I will say the tres leche was really good. Bill was $1400 for 8 people...

The best thing about this place is their appearance. It is a very picturesque place, mostly a place for a girls night out to take a picture.

Now to the cons - I booked a table for 10+ guests. They ask you to text a number and whoever handles the reservation rarely gets back to you. They didn’t explain their would be a pre-fix menu for a larger party (which fine we were there already). I called numerous times and sent them messages on instagram to finally get a hold of someone only to confirm my reservation. I had to hunt them down for a reservation. No further details were given when making the reservation.

Once we got there the place was nice, the table was beautiful, and our server was nice. However, we did not see much of him. For a good priced gratuity that was included in the tab we didn’t see a lot of him. We were told we’d get “2 hours of drinks” that were worked into our pre-fix price and the drinks were absolutely watered down. Very disappointing. I will mention that their food was not too bad. I can’t complain much about the food.

Overall I was disappointed by their service and how poorly they handle consumer service. Upon leaving the host didn’t even great us goodbye, she simply let us out with an...
