Get ready folks, this review is going to be lengthy (so many amazing points to highlight)! I booked my sonâs 5th birthday party at Xtreme Energy in August for the end of November since this very popular birthday venue gets booked quickly. As other reviewers noted, Vic and his wife were INCREDIBLE to work with: professional, honest, patient, thorough, enthusiastic and FAIR. The cost of my sonâs party was up there (still reasonable), but the value completely justified what we spent (and then some). The facility is beautiful and immaculately maintained; the staff arenât just helpful and polite, they are polished and warm; the packages and pricing was a simple structure to follow which made decision making a breeze (I canât stand how most other places charge a low rate and then nickel and dime for every little thing - Xreme Energy is the complete opposite), Most people wouldnât describe a kidâs birthday party venue as âclassyâ, but thatâs precisely what it is. The flow of the party went really well. Our assigned event coordinator was always accessible and focused. On the way out, an employee who was not assigned to our sons party offered to help my husband carry all of the gifts to the car - this man was so sweet and willing to help. I literally wanted to hug everyone who works there! I called about 10 days prior to the event to inquire about catering and spoke with Vicâs wife - she was a pleasure to work with and made awesome suggestions; not only did we order the perfect amount of food based on her recommendations, we also served a delicious lunch to all of the parents. The decorations were incredible - I think my face lit up just as bright as my sonâs when our party host first brought us back to see the room. We arrived a few minutes early and were welcomed very warmly - I was expecting some push back on being able to go inside before our set party time and there was none! This was huge; I was able to relax, take off my coat, enjoy a cup of coffee and arrange our goodie bags ALL BEFORE our guests started to arrive. I canât be the only parent who feels all of these things are huge! As the end of the party started approaching, there was no feeling of being pushed out - this made me want to collect our things and make room for them to prepare for the next party with my own sense of urgency. I can honestly say that I donât know which part of our amazing experience is the best part to note because they nailed the entire experience on every single level. I am so impressed by the operation they run, their creativity, staffing choices, extremely well trained employees, their white glove service and their down to earth and gracious culture. I donât just want to have another party with them, I want to invest in their company or even be a part of their team!
Iâm sure it goes without saying, but my son told me he had the best birthday ever! For that alone, I want to thank Xtreme Energy for all of their efforts today. Behind the scenes and in front. We will remember today forever. Thank...
Read moreUpdating: I have a 9 year old and almost 4 year old that is just a very small size. The almost 4 year old is very athletic and can do things that my 9 year old can, he was not allowed to do any of the obstacle courses or even come near them creating in a very poor situation where we just wanted to leave, he kept wanting to do it not understanding why he cannot, these courses are ridiculous like for a toddler, especially the bottom, it shouldnât matter the height, the age should matter, as an almost 4 year old can do that stuff with eyes closed he does way harder things. My 9 year old hated it, they kept telling him not to jump certain ways in the jumping area, like he canât jump from one square to anotherđ¤Śââď¸ they also told me to come off the jumping area, but my little one felt safer and wanted to jump with me, they told me to get off it, although there are no signs saying anything about any of these ridiculous one too many rules, making the place completely not fun for anyone, my 9 year old told me he never wants to go there again, my almost 4 year old also wanted to leave . Terrible place
Didnât know whether to leave 2 or 3 stars, going to do 3 just for the cool obstacle course and other cool stuff like trampolines etc But the fact that they do not let you know that they do not serve food on weekdays is really terrible customer service. I checked other reviews, read on the website and it was clear they do serve food always, but when I got there and about half an hour in, my child was hungry I expected that we will eat there and asked him what he wants, we were ready to order just for them to tell me the cafe is closed on weekdays, I was furious! I already paid for 2 hours of play, but now Iâm stuck there with my hungry child and to top it off even though we only were able to get 1.5 hrs cause they were closing, still paid a whopping $21. Also the arcade games are old and broken, for a new place id expect everything to be perfect, definitely nothing to be broken. My son was getting frustrated cause the racing games were not working neither of the 2 and the shooting game had to be rebooted as we waited. Usually indoor play for weekdays that we go to are on average $15 and always have food, as the kids can get hungry and outside food is not allowed. So I feel that the place is def over priced for what it is. And they donât serve latte or any of the great stuff you see on the menu on the weekdays not only food. Itâs kind of ridiculous and they 100% need to announce this on their website and also let people know before they pay to get in. I would just go to lily and Liam next door if they let me know they donât have food before I paid, I would skip out on this place for sure. Itâs not all that. Oh and keep in mind the place is way smaller than what it looks like from...
Read moreXtreme Energy was AMAZING!! We just got back from my son's birthday party. I called on Monday and spoke to Siana and she was able to help me schedule a party for 30 children and get everything ready!! She confirmed the pizza order the day before the party and referred me to Vic and Junior if there were any questions on the day of the party, as they would be managing on that day. We showed up a little early and the staff helped us bring everything in and set up. Taylor was our host and she made sure everything went so smoothly, from set up to serving pizza to making sure the kids all had napkins and purel hand gel. The staff took care of all clean up, which was extremely convenient for us as we packed up the rest of the goodie bags and leftover cupcakes and headed out. During the actual party, there were many staff members in various areas of the play area to make sure the children were safe and having fun! The main room has 2 ball pits and slides and climbing wall as well as a big climbing structure, all able to accommodate our youngest guests of 2 and 3 years old all the way up to our 8 and 9 year olds!! There was an awesome 2 level ropes course with harnesses that was a winning attraction for our party!! The young men directing the children on that course were so patient and helpful. Past the party rooms is another whole room with a big trampoline area and a challenging ninja course that was great for the older kids in our group! I loved that everything was fully supervised and there was only one main entrance, so no kids could accidentally wander out. It's not so large a place that you can't find your children within a minute look around, not too loud music that you can't talk to the other parents, and impeccably clean!! The bathrooms were SPOTLESS!! (I have been to many many of these kinds of play places and I've never seen such a clean restroom as at this place!) This was such a stress-free party and everyone had a great time! The kids were so happy and several parents told me they want to book for their kids next party here. We can't wait to come back for open play during spring break and check out their new location opening soon in Paramus!! Thank you for a...
