They don't honor $300 lost or $600 played to comp food. Tipping $30 or 100% doesn't matter; they will charge you. The lady bartenders are pretty sure, but they don't pay attention if you're a gambler. Just gamble and get food comps at South Point or neighboring 24-hour bars. They have a pleasant environment here, but what's the point if you're pretty, slow, and irresponsible with your work ethic and customers?
Food It is decent, but bars I'm not too into still have better chefs and dishes.
Brittany P. and Jessie don't work hard. They constantly talk to other guests who don't tip, gamble, or order.
In the daytime, this place is neat for watching games but paying for drinks for happy hour. Don't bother getting a Gamer's card if you are going to pre-tip and get stiffed. Anchor burger, wings fries, mozzarella sticks, all suck.
Flowing Tide on Decatur is better."

Hi Willie....Please feel free to call our GM at this location. We would be more than happy to explain the comping system to you in more detail.
Thank You, Marissa T."
I appreciate Marissa for responding to my and all other reviews. I'm glad you offered to let me talk to GM for explanations, but I was born and raised in Las Vegas, and half my 32 aunts and uncles have owned or worked in casinos and bars since the 70s. My folks had two businesses; I ran one and worked bartending, dealing, slots, and hosting for seven years. Each spot has its system, but overall, it's nearly universal in terms of Losing your wallet, and you get at least an entree comp. My concern isn't the comping; that was my drunken rant; the concern is that the "pretty staff" don't have real experience, empathy, or work ethic. They flirt with guests and ignore the rest. They ignore minorities or younger/older folk. Don't pay attention to your wins or losses or get your drinks. The only employee doing it right is Michael, who recently joined up. The food has gotten better. The staff mostly still sucks. No smiling, bad attitudes, no understanding of the menu, or suggestions for popular items. Long nails that look good but don't work and get sweating to bus and move for patrons. Shout out to the chef, too, on 4/18/24
Mike P, baby! Thanks for the excellent service, man. You are the reason I will visit Flowing Tide Pub 9. Six other employees served me, and it was worse each time. You turn it around! Recognize your boy! The previous bar I would frequent has gone to hell without him. Give him a raise, paid time off, and some credit! Grave on your shift is the only time I'll come in.
He alone makes this...
Read moreWalked in late on Sunday night with a group of 7. The bartender on shift was unfriendly the entire time we were there, and even slammed one of our drinks down I’m assuming because we were asking for green tea shots which no bartender loves to make. Being a bartender myself, I know that it’s quite literally my job to make what people request even if it’s tedious. Our entire group is in the service industry, servers and bartenders alike and we know when we aren’t being treated well. What’s worse is an off duty employee was sitting at the opposite end of the bar giving us the DIRTIEST looks that she possibly could. I understand when you pay for a song, if the bass is too much for the speakers they have to change it. But to then follow up with glaring at our group the rest of our time there? Unacceptable and unwelcoming to a group of understanding people who happily tip well above average. We weren’t rude, or really even needy. And when we asked if we could split the check? He basically yelled at us and told us he couldn’t split it at all, even if it was an even split. As locals, it’s very unfortunate to feel this way about a place we probably would’ve...
Read moreUnder 21 not welcome and not really obvious till you're there. We were allowed to sit on the porch. Fine. 2 other parties were in the same boat. We were told the kids needed to stay on the porch. Ok. We did. While waiting I needed to change a diaper on a child. We are outside a full table from everyone in a corner. Everyone inside has their back to us at the bar. I then get scolded by our server. Ok. Well would you like me to go inside, yes, but you can't throw the diaper away in the bathroom because it's a restaurant. Untrue. So what do you want me to do? Keep the dirty diaper you don't want me changing near people that are eating. Yes she tells me. Just be clear you don't welcome children. I'd happily spend my money elsewhere. You have good reviews for your food but your staff doesn't understand the law and are unclear on code. So here's a real review on how you treat customers. The bathroom is all the way by the front door. No where but a floor in a walk way or stall to change a child. Place...
