Giant Eagle Convenience Store, Erie Bayfront GetGo Cafe' & Market — Attraction in Erie

I love this Get-Go, it's not just like any other Get-Go. I've seen them have unique items there. Stuff you can't even find at other Beer Distributors or Convenience Stores. Two weeks ago, we found "Jello Shot's" in their Beer Cooler. Who does that, I wanna shake their hands!!! LOL That's Ingenious, and Gutsy for a local Get-Go, to do. With everyone going through their ups and downs, w/COVID-19 and everything else going on within our State. It's nice to see a local manager take initiative, not only in alcohol sales, but new items that other stores just don't offer. Heck, if all of them brought in Newer Items, they'd put the rest of the Convenience Stores...

Late at night or rather early in the morning, this location only has one to three employees for the gas pumps and the food at the cafe and perhaps a third person helping with the food, but there are hardly any staff members available for the front end or register. There is a self-checkout but it is very finicky if it works at all. I ended up having to get someone because I scanned one item 3x by accident. The scanner is very touchy and can be handheld. It is one of the least efficient methods I have seen in Erie PA as far as self-checkout...

It's a gas station that is open 24/7 and offers made to order items, what more can you ask for? I will say that often they are understaffed or they don't offer certain foods or drinks without any notice but again, it's a gas station.
