Wildwood Antique Mall Of Eustis — Attraction in Eustis

There are antique shops and then there is Wildwood Antiques and More. I was taken back, more like blown away when I walked through the door! It's going to take me a month of Sundays to go through all of the vendors' booths here. This is a very very large Antiques Mall so please give yourself time to enjoy the scenery. This place is AWESOME! 👌

Right away you'll find lockers in the front of the store for storing purses (an absolute NO NO to carry when browsing in any antique store) very nice to see this! 😀

You will find antiques, tons of collectibles, a huge selection of vintage kitchenware, glass, and MORE antiques! There are antique and collectible toys, sports equipment and memorabilia, jewelry, lamps, furniture (original and refurbished), books, albums and holiday decorations galore! All this and I've only checked out the perimeter of the store as of yet!

Note: They sell water and light snacks at the checkout counter. I also noticed a Food Truck 🚚 out front, but I didn't confirm the exact dates and times of operation. You can spend time shopping 🛍 and have lunch too!

This store is a sheer treasure! An antique lover's haven and collector's dream come true! This is well worth the drive to Eustis.

The first time I came here a vendor made some beautiful jewelry to put my best friends ashes in for me(she's in the back right hand corner-she gets a million stars). Since then, we've been in about 5 times and bought stuff each time. Well today my fiance who works 60 hours a week, has never been any type of trouble with the law, is an upstanding citizen, was followed around by a woman from the front desk and was basically accused of stealing. He was killing time while waiting for his jacket to be finished at the dry cleaners so he walked around for about 20-30 minutes. I WILL be in tomorrow to speak with the owner. Just because a man has tattoos and likes to wear his thick silver chains around his neck and over a half a pound of silver on his wrist, does not mean he his a thief. We have brought business to your establishment. You had better believe I am sharing this all over social media and will be there tomorrow to speak with the owner. Never again will we shop here and I will urge others not to. I may reconsider bad mouthing this place if my fiance gets an honest apology. See you guys in the morning.

UPDATE: I spoke with manager, he SAYS he's going to speak with the employee who harassed my fiance....

Some of the things are interesting and unique, but the prices are more than what most of the items would retail for buying them new. One booth with cosmetics that are several years old and not even made anymore, charging more than what they would have sold for in a place you would ordinarily buy cosmetics- before they expire.

It would still be a fun place to look around and I would even be willing to pay some of the high prices, as I did see a piece I liked and thought it was worth it. What made me extremely uncomfortable was staff following my husband and I as we looked and giving us a creepy feeling almost as if they were thinking we were shoplifting. Going up to pay, the woman behind the counter was also extremely rude. This soured any good thoughts I had about it being a cool place to look around. Will...
