Superb chocolate. Friendly service. When things get busy, they could use some better processes. Walk in, and you could be in for a wait. Call in, and you'll be told they will "try" to have the box ready, but no promises.

I totally understand the staff feeling overwhelmed, and don't blame them one bit. I think management should consider a way to take orders like that in a way that doesn't make a customer just show up and see whether it's ready, and doesn't make each staff member have to make impossible estimates or just tell customers "maybe."

But that's the only downside. Best chocolates in the Chicago area, IMO, and...

I wanted some premium sugar-free chocolates for my parents and visited this local place not knowing what to expect. The woman at the register greeted us kindly and gave us a good overview of the immense selection of chocolates. After my first bite, i was absolutely shocked at the quality of the chocolate. These were amazing!! I had the sugar-free dasies and almond milk and dark chocolates. I loved the dark chocolate but i have an innate preference towards them. What a cool place...huge selection of individual chocolates and creme filled items, all made with Belgian chocolate. Gave my mother some dipped pieces of candied Orange peel, Gave my girlfriend a Box of filled chocolates that was also made of chocolate, so it was like chocolate cubed. The small bags of chocolate, both dark and milk, make great dipping and mixture items for rich cocoa concoctions. A bit on the expensive side but I guess that is to be expected. I appreciate that they are always trying to be creative and come up with new approaches to their sweets. Great little secret...
