We waited two months for the Friday night guided tour and, of course, it was overcast and rainy (not the Observatory’s fault). They never checked our tickets which made us feel like we waited two months when we probably could have just shown up on any random Friday night and gotten in. The tour is run by students and was very dry and, unfortunately, boring without the ability to look through the telescope. They showed a lot of pictures on a small computer screen that were difficult to see and appeared to be pictures that one might gather from a simple Google search. Waited for them to set the scope n place, the viewing lens fell off while they were moving the scope from about 10 feet up. Then for about 20 minutes watched this girl position the scope n place. Right when we're about to finally see Juputer(only reason I'm here)we were told to let the kids go 1st. Other than 2 children the rest were high schoolers. Which apparentl means they all get in the front of the line as well. Was told told let the kids go first.
