I don't really post Google reviews that often, but I felt that I should share what my experience so far has been with moving in to the Link yesterday to inform others who are considering it as an option. The leasing office was closed upon my arrival to the apartment, but I had worked with a representative who gave me instructions to retrieve the key for my apartment. The process was smooth until I actually arrived into my rented space, which was very clearly not finished and ready for move in. The stove and oven were completely missing from the kitchen, the ground and surfaces were covered in dust and other evidences of construction like paint residues, and there was an extremely pungent smell of some sort of chemical. After seeing the state of the area, and especially given the fact that I wasn't notified about any of this, I didn't feel safe moving into an apartment that could potentially still be under construction. Since it's labor day weekend, it seems that I won't be able to actually get any help until Tuesday. So far, despite many phone calls and emails, I haven't been able to get in touch with anyone in the leasing office — and their emergency maintenance person, though nice, was unable to help besides advising me to stay in a hotel until next week. At this point, I'm running low on options and am severely regretting my choice to go with this building. After I get in touch with the leasing office, I'll update this review with their response and hopefully how this situation gets resolved in entirety. Attaching a few photos below. Update: After working with the management team this past weekend, I've been generally impressed with the way they've handled the situation and resolved it successfully. Erica, the property manager of the Link, gave me a call on Sunday after I had emailed her about the situation, and was very understanding and empathetic about what had happened. She assured me that the room would be ready by Tuesday for move-in. On Tuesday morning, Tiffany, who works in the Link's office, gave me a follow-up call to let me know when the apartment would be ready and was very helpful in the whole move-in process. After settling in, Erica and I had a sit-down meeting where she personally listened to the circumstances and was extremely helpful in making sure that all the problems were resolved. Additionally, the maintenance person (I did not catch his name) came to check up on me on Tuesday, which was very kind of him. Overall, although this situation was unbelievably unfortunate and ideally would not have happened in the first place, the management team this week has been responsive, helpful, and kind — I'm impressed by how they've moved forward with a tenant that didn't have an initially good experience. Though I'll leave the original contents of my review up so the context is clear, I do feel that the team handled this situation in the best way that they could have. Mistakes happen, and their response to what originally was a very unfortunate move in experience has remedied it significantly. In particular, both Erica and Tiffany were exceptional! I'm thankful that they could be there to help through all the chaos.

I'd give this place 0 stars if I could. Avoid living here at all costs. Building is falling apart and management is terrible. This place is overpriced and management takes no ownership over persistent internet issues, trash and garbage disposal issues, and basic maintenance. My bathroom wall is coming apart for the second time this year, leaks every time the person above me showers, and is starting to accumulate mold. This issue has been going on for OVER 5 MONTHS and has been met with little responsiveness from management. When I do schedule time to get it fixed, nobody shows up. My emails consistently go ignored, there is a total lack of respect for my time, and zero effort put forth to apologize and fix the ceiling issues. Go anywhere else, this is truly not worth it. UPDATE: After over a year of inconvenience, moldy water dripping everyday, stream of maintenance people in and out of my apartment to fix and re-fix the issue, relocating me to another apartment for a week, the Link had the nerve to charge me $400 for a "paint job" after I moved out. They did not provide me with any evidence of said "paint job" needed, never responded to my calls or emails, and sent a collection agency after me. Live anywhere else. If you really need the amenities, pick E2. I wish I had.

Good morning, I wanted to send out a message that is long overdue. In February 2024, I visited The Link to tour apartments for my son. We proceeded to secure an apartment and completed all the paperwork. However, our move-in wasn’t until August 2024. In the interim, the management staff had turned over. With this transition, agreements and assertions made in February had not been memorialized. So the new team was left to pick up pieces from the old team. The good news is that the new team, lead by their Property Manager Brian Jones & head Maintenance Engineer (ME), saved the day. Though I was on a tight timeline, they rose to the occasion and surpassed all expectations. Even more impressive, the ME had only been on the job for 3 weeks, but provided top notch, above-and-beyond service. I’m truly grateful for their professionalism and support.

More generally, the Leasing Office staff have always been pleasant and responsive. My son has been a resident for 2.5 months now and has had no issues. Go...
