Alice Millar Chapel — Local services in Evanston Township

We had our wedding ceremony at Alice Millar Chapel in May of 2017. The space is was perfect for our 250 guests. The chapel was so beautiful with the light shining in for our 1pm ceremony, and the sounds of the organ were perfect. We also had a friend sing and play guitar from the front, and the vocals in the chapel were great. Our officiant had a mic, bride &a groom did not, and from our wedding video you can still hear the vows clearly. Bible readings were read from the pulpits. As you can see, the chapel has so much to offer for a variety of components to make up a great ceremony. The staff roped off the back pews so that our guests would sit towards the front. We worked with Kerby to plan the details, and she was such a big help. She was there for our rehearsal the night before as well as a key part in making things run smoothly on or weddingn day. Eric worked with us to choose our organ music, and he performed wonderfully at the ceremony. I will say it was a bit expensive to book this chapel and that the bride and groom prep rooms are small, but this is a historic church and that is just how it is! So worth it. The ladies got ready at a local hotel before heading to the chapel. Kerby also helped plan with us to have a coffee hour immediately following our ceremony in their back reception room. This was a hit with our guests, as they could chat and enjoy a cup of coffee as they made plans with family and friends for before the reception which was hours later in a different city. We would 100% recommend Alice Millar Chapel, Kerby, and Eric. I couldn't have imagined our wedding...

Absolutely BEAUTIFUL place. Came here with a music group in my high school for a rehearsal, and the reverb in this place is just amazing. Any music place played in this area just echoes so beautifully, it's just mesmerizing. The place all-round is beautiful as well. The way everything was put in place is just gorgeous. Cannot stop praising about how amazing this place is for anything. This would a perfect venue...

90 degrees outside and they told an 80 year old grandmother and a 6 month old to wait outside because we were 30 minutes early for the wedding setup. What a place of love and understanding!
