This is an interesting historical site for anyone who likes trains and/or the history of the Chinese people in the west. Lovely site for a picnic. The depot can be rented for activities as can the Beeman Cashing building. Both make nice wedding reception areas. During the summer a farmer's market is held here every Thursday. Stroll around this beautiful gem of a park in downtown Evanston. Chinese joss house museum can be opened by speaking to the Chamber of commerce. Great museum located in the historic Carnegie library has excellent changing displays of local and regional history.
