Walter E. Hall Park — Attraction in Everett

I want to say that this is a wonderful park...with a severe safety problem. When I used the restrooms today I saw something extremely dangerous.

The needle/sharps bin is merely a hole in the wall.

I repeat, it is a hole marked with a sign. I looked into it and I saw a syringe that works be easily pulled out and taken for someone to use again. ☠️⚠️☠️

This needs to be dealt with. Now. This needs to be made safe.

The restroom is literally just feet from a beautiful kids' playground. On the other side is a baseball field and a skate park. And they were striping a well kept up field for what liked like soccer. Popular park. Please fix! 😁 I would love taking my kids here to play, and would absolutely rate this place 5 stars but there is a danger here. Please just get a normal sharps case that locks the needles away.

the people at the community garden are very rude! we tried to communicate with several of the people that are gardening there some of witch were collage educated people according to there W.U. alumni license plate.But yet none of witch spoke any English. So my wife and I picked out a small little spot. One that had yet to be worked this year. We turned the soil, removed the unwanted weeds and even placed some decorative rocks around it's boarders. We returned the following day to plant some of the vegetables we had anticipated growing only to find out that all of the decorative rocks we placed were gone and vegetables had been planted showing me what kind of community I really lived in May you reap a wonderful garden full of maggots...

Seems like just enough equipment to keep the other kids occupied while one kid is competing on one of the sports fields. The main play structure is small -- a ship with a slide, not much to it. Good enough for toddlers (astroturfed, so better than mulch for the crawlers), but not much beyond that. There's a dinosaur rocker and a rope jungle gym. The smaller climbing net is marked off with orange netting, so I'm guessing there's something wrong with it. If you don't like the crowds that the parks with more interesting equipment attracts, then this is probably fine. Nice and quiet (and good parking) when there are no...
