Memorial Pool — Attraction in Fair Lawn

Nice pool and very well maintained. Life guards all over the place making sure the kids are safe. The height of the pool is perfect for small kids and there is deeper area for experienced swimmers. Lots of parking everywhere. The bathrooms are very well maintained. This pool is only for fairlawn residents don’t come trying to sneak in you cant pay for a day pass unless your with a fairlawn resident. It’s a smoke/ vape free area. No alcohol allowed. Younger security staff are down to earth and cool. The older security staff will scan your ids 5-6 times they take the job very serious idk if it’s because I’m of Latin descent ( the scanner was malfunctioning and asked if I was sure I had paid 😒) I now printed my receipt of payment and carry it with me just in case.

The lifeguards are RUTHLESS MANIPULATORS!!! The place is great itself but the guards are hateful and nasty. It’s like they conspire against my kids. They make up things just to get kids kicked out. One of them accused my son of throwing rocks and kicked him out of Wibit. When my son said that he never threw a rock he said that he held a rock so what was he going to do with it…? I live in Fair Lawn for 23 years. I love to go to Memorial pool. Today, Tuesday, June 28 I came as usual to buy my seasonal pass and enjoy a nice swim. Unfortunately, i was told that they have only daily passes and i have to go to buy seasonal at the Rec center. They work from 10-4 every day. But i work until 6 and can go just on weekend. So, if i want to swim i can spend $ 10 every day until Saturday. It is almost half of two month pass..... Could someone explain why i can't buy my pass...
