I like this shop. It's a convenient place to get a good poké bowl. The food is fresh and good-tasting. But, somehow, it is not quite as good as Poke Works at the GSP. Regardless, Poke Express is definitely worth a try. Choose one of their house recipe bowls or you can build-your-own. They even offer kids' poké bowls. A bargain at $8, it consists of 1 base (rice and/or salad), 1 protein, 1 veggie topping, 1 sauce, 1 crunchy topping. Like my kids, your little ones will love their bowl because choosing the options is fun. It's definitely a much healthier and cheaper choice versus a burger, fries and soda from somewhere else. Conveniently, there's sushi on the menu (which makes sense since the ingredients are the same), however, I haven't tried them yet. There are also milk tea, slushie and smoothie offerings. They look tempting, however, I have yet to try those either. I'd like to soon because, like some bubble tea places, they give you the choice of how sweet you want your drink - from 0% to 200% sugar. The guy at the front counter is really nice, polite and eager to give suggestions if you don't know what to order. There isn't a whole lot of seating there, three or four small tables with chairs and benches, but that's enough for a short stay to eat your meal or drink a bubble tea. It seems clean and the walls and decor are nice and simple. You can order ahead of time on their website, or if you're feeling a little introverted, you can order your meal from a kiosk at the door. Prices are reasonable for the good portions that you get. My wife usually becomes full about 3/4 of the way through her bowl and then I get to finish it off. Not cooking dinner for the family tonight? Poké Express is a tasty and filling take-out option that's also an interesting experience for the kids. It's healthier than the usual overly greasy fast-food/Chinese/pizza and just as convenient.

Wow. I live so close to Poke Express and it’s taken me way too long to try it. Luckily, they were open on Thanksgiving and were so kind. I live close enough that they delivered a large order in about 20 minutes. Skip Ubereats and order on their website if you live in Fair Lawn. Much cheaper and better for the restaurant. The sushi rolls were made with super fresh ingredients and were so tasty. Best shumai I’ve had in a long time (though the dipping sauce was a tad bit salty). The crab tastes like real crab. Amazing California roll, crispy tempura in the sweet potato roll, and the avocado had no hint of oxidation (turning brown) so it was freshly cut up just for my order. I’ve never had a crabmeat cream cheese mango roll before, but I’ll definitely order it again. The ginger dressing for the green salad tasted fresh made, not from a bottle, and was thicker than many places. It actually stuck to the salad instead of pooling at the bottom of the container. The salad itself was made with romaine, not iceberg like most places, and had lots of diced cucumbers and those sweet gold cherry tomatoes. Great value for the price. The Kani salad is great, not over dressed, and with a nice crunch from the carrots. Unfortunately I over ordered so I haven’t tried my Shrimp and Crab salad poke bowl yet. Since everything is so fresh I have no concerns about eating it tomorrow. My boyfriend loved the carrot cake he ordered. Cannot recommend this place enough. Next time I’m going to try the crème brûlée milk tea with tapioca pearls and I’m thinking about grabbing an avocado vanilla protein shake to drink at work next week. The one change I’d love to see them make is to switch to earth friendly packaging.

Apparently there is a small business war going on with the place up the street hence the vague low reviews. I actually ordered from this new business earlier this week so I feel qualified to give an honest review rather than the childishness that has been posted. The first time that I had poke was in Hawaii and for many years I was unable to find it in our area so I am thrilled that we have this option in town now. The poke was fresh, the rice was perfectly sticky and there were a ton of options for toppings. It was excellent and I will be back for more. The staff is always a pleasure to talk to. Two young girls were being trained but they did a great job and they were very kind. I have already suggested Poke Express to my friends & coworkers. Try it for yourself. *Pic as proof we were paying customers.

From the moment you walk into this restaurant, Gina’s warm and enthusiastic welcome makes you feel as a valued guest rather than just another customer. Her kindness and energy sets the tone for an excellent dinning experience. Beyond her hospitality, the food here at Poke Express is nothing short of excellent. I have been privileged to try their sushi, bubble tea, and lo mein, and each dish has exceeded my expectations. The sushi is exceptionally fresh and delicious. Every bite is a testament of quality and detailed attention to the dish’s overall outcome. The bubble tea is yet another banger, not too sweet and well-balanced with flavor. The bubbles carry an excellent chewy texture and delicious (just right!). Lastly, I had the shrimp Lo Mein, featuring well cooked and mouth-watering noodles with the perfect sauce. The aspect that stands out the most are the exceptional shrimps: plumpled, cooked to perfection, packed with flavor, and topped with a remarkable and generous portion. If you have been looking for a hidden gem, look no further. Gina and her team create such an inviting and memorable experience that you won’t be able to resist coming back for more—I, for one, have happily fallen into...
