Suite 6TwentySix — Attraction in Fair Lawn

I understand some venues have their policies and procedures I am aware of that. This experience for me was not very pleasant. Our family felt very rushed from the beginning to the end. We had a bday party for our daughter she just turned 10 years old, our planner needed ample enough time to setup and decorate because we wanted it to be special. Keep in mind , the hours you book the location has to include the setup time as well. We booked from 3-11pm and told our guests the event starts at 6pm. Between setting up the drinks food and decorations it took up more than 3 hours running back and forth. We didn’t have much helping hands. We wanted to ensure our guests were properly serviced. The owner or property renter will be in the venue the entire time micro managing what to do. I understand , you don’t want anything to go wrong but there should be a limit so that we can do as we have visioned. She will take photos without your consent and remind you of certain things. As we can imagine that can be frustrating when you’re trying to get everything sorted. In addition, there is no leniency whatsoever. I felt belittled in any type of reasoning that I proposed. She came at 10:30 and advised that it’s time to go and pick up. We rushed, cleaned up and moved all the extra food and drinks outside. In the midst of it all we crossed the 11 mark by 20 or so minutes to clean unexpected messes from kids and she charges me an additional $100 for overtime from the deposit that was meant for any damages which I can ensure there were not any. At least let me know your going to do that. I bought insurance just in case as well to ensure we are covered and that the adults can enjoy a few beers and relax while the kids have fun. I can’t recommend this place I’m sorry. Maybe if it’s something really small without any setup then it may work. They have 2 bathrooms, plenty parking, a fridge , tvs and ac. A few good perks but I would trade some of that for some understanding…. It’s a kids party ,...

I would like to start this review by THANKING THE SUITE 6TWENTYSIX TEAM that helped make my wife's and I day possible. My wife and I recently used the venue to get married. Liz appeared to my wife during a very stressful moment, when we needed help the most and literally wiped the stress from her and I can't thank her enough for that. Liz was so professional and helpful, she even tried to go out her way to make sure our perfect day was perfect. She set us up with appointment on short notice and even booked us. Anthony was just amazing and very understanding and helpful. We booked the 23 of July and was given the 22 to set up. The venue itself is just beautiful it's spacious, clean, and has a really chill vibe to it. The venue from what I was told can host a multitude of events. Listen if you're looking for a venue to host weddings, baby showers, birthday parties, or whatever. I truly recommend this place. No I don't work with the team and no I'm not getting paid for my review. I am simply trying to make sure this GEM doesn't get looked over. I got some pictures from the set up and plan on editing and posting pictures from the wedding once I get them. Again I truly appreciate and am thankful for the Suite 6TwentySix staff. I Do NOT recommend booking a painting party here! Maybe the event rental is a different experience, but my experience was disappointing.

When I mentioned that parents would be attending, the host implied that kids misbehave when parents are around which was unnecessary, as our girls are well behaved.

Upon arrival, I asked where to set up, and she told me to use any table. When I moved a covered speaker about a foot to make space, she immediately scolded me, saying it was expensive. Later, when a mom was adding tape to a backdrop, she questioned if we were taping the wall within just minutes of being there, she had already made us feel uncomfortable.

While she was concerned about possible damage, there was none, and she did return my deposit right away. However, the "artist" was not a professional and barely engaged with the kids. Liz took over the event in a way that felt more like she was hosting rather than allowing us to enjoy the party. Also micromanage every move!
