Summary, if you're in a hurry: At the direction of his advice and some persistence, I was able to recover a majority of my application and closing costs!!!! He doesn't sugar coat things, so don't expect coddling or hand-holding but his matter-of-fact approach is refreshing. I am truly grateful that he helped me navigate some pretty treacherous terrain and he's earned a client for life. All of my legal agreements and contracts will be going through him from now on:)

Background: I refinanced last year with what appeared to be a respected commercial lender. As a first time commercial borrower, I naively expected an experience very similar to home loans. After more than 2 years of trying to work to resolution on our own, when faced with a Homeowners Association that would not enforce covenants regarding all terrain vehicles (ATVs) we called Fox and Moghul. We scheduled a consultation with Mr. Terry Fox who immediately reassured us that he was confident in resolving the situation with the neighbors and HOA. After he and his team researched the appropriate statutes he issued the offending parties a “cease and desist” letter. Previously the offenders had ignored our requests as well as direction from Deputy Sheriffs. However immediately upon receiving the detailed cease and desist letter from Mr. Fox the offenders stopped trespassing and continue to comply. Mr. Fox also sent a letter to the President of the HOA demanding that the Association meet their lawful obligation and responsibility to uphold the covenants. Had it not been for the thoroughness and follow through of this law firm we would still be faced with the liability should someone have been injured on our property.
