Providence Park — Attraction in Fairfax

This park was a great accidental find. We were at GMU to pick up our "Cache of the Day” on a Wednesday morning in May and decided to get our 4000 steps in the beautiful neighborhood across University Drive. As we walked the neighborhood we saw a path that led to Providence Park. What a nice surprise. We even met a couple of super friendly neighborhood dogs in the park. A cute little park behind an apartment complex. Has porta potties available (one of which is disability friendly) in the parking lot and the lot itself is a good size. Two climbing gyms, tennis courts, a soccer field, two swing sets with four swings each (one set has two baby swings) and a large covered pavilion with many picnic tables.
