Senberry Bowls — Attraction in Fairfax

I’m not one to leave reviews on google im more of an in person review guy cuz it means more but I’ve done it so many times to this establishment that I want to put one here so everyone can see. I’ve been coming to this place for the past 4 years, the staff is always so nice and the service is always quick, unless it’s a hot day and everyone wants a bowl it will take a while, but it’s worth the wait! I’ve been coming in more frequently the past 2 years and the staff has started recognizing me and remembering my order because I always get the same thing, me and my girlfriend come in and they already know “2 gluten free nutty bowls and 2 iced Carmel macchiatos, one with half and half” today was extra special because I got a regular Carmel macchiato but I didn’t ask for half and half this time and the young woman who usually takes our order said “do you want your half and half today?” I’ve never had this experience at any other restaurant and I’m very grateful they take the time to remember me and my girlfriend’s orders. 10/10 everyone need to try...

Really disappointing and way overpriced. The portion size of açaí you get is pathetic and the consistency not good. It’s literally about an inch at the bottom of a small plastic container, with the toppings taking up the remainder of the room. It’s impossible to get a bite with the açaí unless you dump everything out, or eat most of the toppings first. Also, the granola was overly sweet. There were lots of granules of sugar. I may have gotten the dregs dumped out onto mine or something. This place left me so unsatisfied and disappointed that the next day I drove to Vienna and got an açaí bowl from “South Block” which was 100 times better and about 3 times the size, for the same price as the one from Senberry! So I tried se berry bowls today. The bowl was delicious. I got the peanut butter. But the only issue I had that really annoyed me was I asked if I could substitute almond butter for the peanut butter. The woman working the counter said yet but it’s an extra dollar to do that. So I said no thank you and continued with the peanut butter. As I was waiting for my order I noticed they have an açaí bowl called almond butter that also had pineapple and blueberries. So I asked the woman if I was to get the almond butter and remove the pineapple and blueberries is it still a dollar extra and she said no.
