Bain Park Cabin — Attraction in Fairview Park

I love this place it holds a very special place in my heart and in my memories. My grandparents used to be the care takers of Bain Cabin. I used to come stay there from California and visit them help set up tables for receptions and wedding ceremonies. It was so exciting as a lil girl to go up stairs to the apartment where they used to live and watch from the dining room window the beautiful brides and their beautiful brides maids in the prettiest dresses ever and and dream that one day I to was going to get married there. My grandparents watching helping set up like they always did. It was so much fun and just warms my heart to be able to get married there and hopefully my grandparents spirits will be there right next to me happy that I am here and them being able to see me walk down the aisle like I had always told them as a lil girl that one day I was going to be that bride that I used to watch from the window in our lil...

This historic Community cabin was built in the 1930s by the WPA and contains a magnificent mural depicting scenes of Fairview Park from the 1930s.

To the credit of the city of Fairview Park and the Fairview Park historical society this magnificent architectural gem from the 1930s is being taken care of and cared for and the work of the original designers and architects and builders has been respected.

Having grown up in Fairview Park I am very happy that the Bain Park cabin has not been subjected to an architectural pornography job along the lines of what you can watch happen every day on HGTV.

It really is a gorgeous place. The most gorgeous place you can rent in the Cleveland area for a function. I was blessed to visit Bain Cabin regularly when I did blood drives with the Red Cross (as they usually have blood drives there last Wednesday of every month).
