Dariview — Restaurant in Fairview Park

Ignorant business owner. Ordered a large vanilla cone and was served vanilla ice cream in a cup with cone on top. Owners excuse was due to her virus fears and touching she could not hand me a ice cream cone the normal way. She claimed other businesses in the area are doing the same when they are not. She also has posted "cash only" in the window. Cash is dirty, but acceptable and hand off of a cone is not!? What is dirty is her and her employees handle cash and food without changing gloves. We love coming here for their soft serve ice cream, especially to try their special weekly flavor! Last night we went around 9pm and the wait was only a few minutes with 3 couples in front of us! They had lemon 🍋 as this weeks special flavor and it was delicious! It tasted just like lemon meringue! We can’t wait to come back again! The only downside is that they only have 1, or maybe 2 benches here, but we never stay anyways. However, that doesn’t stop us from stopping here to grab a sweet treat...

Been around since i was kid. Love everything about this little place. The location is perfect, limited parking, but half the fun is walking up there. They are even open later than you would think, so you can still change your mind and treat yourself.. The yellow shielded lights creates an old fashioned ambiance. Lol.
