Marina Puerto Chico — Attraction in Fajardo

This was our first time getting on mini-boats. Monica and Eric were friendly and very instructive. They didn't complicate things and they were there for whatever we needed. What a bumpy ride lol! I'm glad Monica and Eric did a good job of prepping us for it. Monica was a fountain of information when we went snorkeling. I could really see and feel how passionate she was about the ocean. She showed our group all of the marine life around us. She stressed the importance of Coral Reefs. What beauty! When they took us to the beach, OH MY GOSH. I have never seen water so clear in my life, and I live in Miami. The ride back was smooth. Monica and Eric were so nice saying their goodbyes. I can't wait to see the picture...

This visit was on Feb. 2017, to this Marina. This was seven months before Hurricane Maria that hit and devastated Puerto Rico. The damage was felt for months by the people. There was water and electricity losed for the whole Island, it continued on from days to months for others. We had a blessing to be able to enjoy this just before it became a life changer for many.

Beautiful view from our balcony on the 25th floor. This is from condos the Dos Marina ll Tower, an Airbnb we rented. My wife and I would make breakfast, lunch or dinner and sit out on the balcony to enjoy the beautiful site. Watching the boats heading out or heading back after a tour. Went with family on a boat ride to do some snorkeling & go to Icacos Island. It was a fun trip they gave us drinks & food (sandwiches & fruits) drinks with or without alcohol. The staff was great friendly, helpful & awesome. I'm sorry I forgot the name of boat & some of the staff. I know one of them was name Raul & the host Damar something like that sorry I forgot.
