The Eco Experience at the Minnesota State Fair — Attraction in Falcon Heights

Had a great time with the nephew and nieces here. Loved all the activities and the bingo card method of tracking and winning prizes. I'm giving 3/5 because again, they left out ONE HALF of MN's clean electricity, nuclear power. No wonder people are scared of it, they never had a chance to learn about it. If they did, they might know that it's statistically the safest, historically the fastest at decarbonizing an electricity grid (only took France and Sweden about 10 years), and that all the waste we have hasn't hurt anyone, would fit in a single walmart, and is recyclable. I know 3 climate scientists personally that would be mad about this. We need all the clean energy we can get right now and depriving kids of all the facts...

Always one of my favorite spots at the state fair. And I'm not just saying that because they have the biggest fans for those hot state fair days. It really is a fun experience that consistently delivers fun and education. It is also my go-to spot to fill my water bottle. Wish there were more water-bottle friendly fountains at the state fair but I guess no one would make any money on those wasteful plastic water bottles sold everywhere else...

During the state fair, this building has very diverse displays with information that is intended to inform people of the impact of choices they make. This has included water conservation and quality exhibits, soil use and recycle information in past years.

As consumers, our choices matter and understanding how those choices impact our community and what financial impact those choices will have...
