The employees are rude and treat customers like trash. I'd rather go to other Indian stores in Farmington.
They are plain rude, arrogant and get annoyed when asked questions. I have been there yesterday and I was the only customer in the store at that time. The employees were just talking among themselves in their local language, laughing among themselves but that is not what offended me. I was asking them questions about a couple of products and the woman who worked there answered me back in a very very rude tone indicating that I interrupted whatever they were laughing about on. When she was checking out products didn't even care about what she was doing, just throwing my stuff in the bags as in a hostile manner again indicating it interrupted her chatter and laughter with her co workers and it was pure blatant arrogance.
Such mediocre customer service should not be encourage, and the management hopefully does something about it. I would not step into this store again, I'd rather go to Vani Foods or India Grocers even though they're a little...
Read moreHonesty they carry alot of grocery products and produce that foreigners could appreciate. For that they deserve a 5 star. They have a big variety of vegetables that are fresh. Many different types of teas and endless spices. More than 5 different types of rice, we are partial to jasmine rice. Countless types of flours. They also carry bath and body supplies that are not made in America. The store is kept clean. They have copious amount of cookies (biscuits for foreigners). The one complaint is they are not nice to all types of people. If you are not an Indian person they treat you like garbage. This is why I will no longer give them my business. I'd rather drive to another town where I will get good and kind service where I'm treated like a person and not like trash. Patel Brothers provided a bountiful supply of produce, but when it comes to pure niceness and kindness, scarce. I gave them a 1 because of how they treat people who...

Yesterday, when I went to this shop with my husband, this is the first time that I have been treated in such a rude way. I have been stared at from feet to head. The cashier was apparently making fun out of me. I had never face such rude and "racist" behavior, especially when my husband was around. The worst I got is a lot of questions of why I buy Indian food and if I really know how to cook Indian food. I don't know if it's because of religious reason ( my husband is a Indian Jew but maybe she thought he was a Hindu and didn't like our supposedly interfaith marriage) or if it's just cultural. I don't even know why someone will live in a country if they hate the local people.
I shopped in quite a lot of Indian shop, in Israel and in the US and this is the first time I have been...
