My worst experience yet. I've been going here for years no problem I have a specific lady I go to to handle my perfumes so on she's wonderful. I went to return a YSL concealer I purchased. I swear I've never seen a more reluctant person working behind the counter. She was very cold and wouldn't look me in the eye if she spoke with me I felt as though I was bothering her as though she had something that she absolutely had to get to, I kind of smiled and I got through her check in the new concealer against my skin and no chattering in a way that I couldn't get a word in inch wise and it was so disconcerting to me I just kind of pasted a smile on my face and gritted my teeth I ended up getting a concealer I didn't want because I felt so uncomfortable. When she was done exchanging the concealers she started to walk away and stop when she noticed I was staring at her because I actually wanted to purchase a moisturizer. When she stopped and came back and said is there anything I can help you as I said no thank you good day went over to the Estee Lauder counter nobody was there finally someone asked me asked if I needed help and came over to help but it was the same thing I felt as though I was thinking away for something very important that they had to do and that they were busy doing something else even though that person was just standing behind another counter wants to gave me the moisturizer I needed which was the bigger one not the smaller one they just kind of hustled away. I was left feeling just odd and ashamed I thought do I smell do I look like a bag lady. I don't smell I did have a hoodie on but I make $71 an hour I'm a nurse I have time off I want to dress down I don't think I need to dress up to go into Nordstrom and I don't think it should matter. I don't know why I felt so down as I left there and I know it will never go back to that store again I will purchase online or it will go to the rack if I ever use them again...

The story goes: I placed an online order to pick up in store. I ordered jewelry as a Christmas gift. When I arrived they (in store pick up department) were busy as anticipated. After waiting for quite a while, the associate returned with a bag which contained my purchase. Here's the problem, I selected gift wrap online, but the bracelet was just in this little glasscine type envelope. Thankfully, I bothered to look in the bag which I'm guilty of not usually doing. I asked the associate "what the hell, I'm confused"... She said oh, if you want a box maybe someone in jewelry can help you. I walked over to jewelry and there was Dominic, busy doing something with the display, but was immediately attentive. He got where I was coming from with being taken aback by the packaging. He immediately took the bracelet and apologized while explaining it's better to call the David Yurman department when ordering the brand because they take the time to give you what you're paying for.    Read moreI wasn't sure where to write this review so that Valentina could get the recognition she deserves so I figured I would post here. I know that I am not the only one when I say that it is certainly a challenge to find the perfect bra. Not only does it need to be functional, but it needs to be comfortable, last long-term, and make you feel good wearing it. Admittedly I was wearing my old bras for 3+ years because I couldn't find bras I liked, until today. Valentina from Nordstrom in Westfarms Mall went above and beyond. She listened to my concerns, really took her time in finding the right products, helped me narrow down the bras that were comfortable for me and that fit me right, all while assisting other customers! Honestly, she was multi-tasking, handling customer inquiries, purchases, and more, and still helped me. I haven't experienced any customer service this attentive before so it just made sense for me to write a review. I would gladly write an email or letter to a supervisor too!
