Concord United Methodist Church — Attraction in Farragut

This has been our church home for over 9 years now. There's a place for everyone. Great children's ministry, including tweenagers and youth. Young adult ministry, lots of Sunday school options for people in your stage of life or your general interests, group studies, Wednesday night dinner, studies and activities, wonderful staff. Mission opportunities locally and on trips. Love the Alzheimer's daycare center. Pre-school visits them on occasion as well as per visits. Both of my boys attended preschool there and it was wonderful. Some of the most genuine loving people (kind of rare to find IMO) who have become my best friends and take care of each other. We've been attending Concord United Methodist for almost 20 years now and love it. The best spiritual music in town is being played at my church and it's also one of the best kept secrets. although I'm sure that we want to spread the word most people are unaware of the amazing sounds and spiritual experience at CUMC. Very open-minded open arms approach to Christian prayer and beliefs. They are really accepting of most any person walking (or trying to) in the steps of Jesus Christ. Great balance of tradition and contemporary with the United Methodist strength of valuing all people and allowing for collaborative individuality. Good stewards of terrific property and resources. It takes a booklet to describe all the ways they are involved in helping from within the community and spreading outward. Wed meal is the best food and helps moms or busy folks eat healthy and tasty before classes and choirs. Great team leading youth group w balance of fun and faith building.
