ADAM tried to scam me not once but twice i didn’t go for it either time the first time my screen was broke and my lidar sensor Which allows the back camera to focus which they did not fix they let me go with just the screen being fixed and I was only charged $30 They tried to charge me an extra 30 to fix the lidar sensor but i refused because I’m paying $200 a year for Best Buy insurance total plus so the most recent time that I came in to get my phone fixed, I was under the impression that I could leave with just the screen being fixed Me being the honest person that I was I told them about their mistake last time and they claim that they made an exception for me so this time I was going to have to pay $99 for a brand new phone when I was under the impression that I could just get the screen fixed and not the lidar sensor because that’s what they did last time They’re claiming they can’t do it because of apple, but they did it the last time I don’t appreciate deception or dishonesty. It’s very bad for business. Read moreMy phone battery decided to die. It wouldn’t hold a charge unless the charger was plugged in. Geek Squad was the only “authorized” Apple service repair guys. Went there on my day off and they couldn’t help me because I didn’t have an appointment even though it was kind of an emergency. So...I had to wait until I had my work schedule, made an appointment a week out, and came back 2 weeks from my previous visit. Guess what? Now they don’t have the battery! What is the point of taking all my phones information (model, serial #) and what I need (battery replacement) if it is not to make sure you have what you need to complete the freaking job. Apparently they can’t reserve a battery the next time one comes in or let me know when another will be available. I just have to make another appointment and hope for the best??? Super unprofessional and will NEVER go there again. Apple needs to endorse someone else as their authorized go to service...

Turns out the Best Buy techs didn’t install the battery properly and why the phone wasn’t working. I’ve boycotted Best Buy ever since and been telling everyone about my experience. Not taking care of the customers is just wrong especially for their own mess up. Literally took the shop 3 minutes to diagnose and fix the issue. Never again Best Buy
