My husband and I go here every so often and have never had a problem until today. I ordered a little bacon cheeseburger and he got a Bacon cheeseburger. They accidentally switched the toppings around, meaning he got my toppings and I received his. No biggie we walked back inside and I told the cashier that our toppings were switched around and tried to give him back the full bag of food. He did not take it and told the cooks what happened. He told me it would be remade and I again tried to give back the food to which he stated to keep it. We weren't going to eat it instead just throw it away. My husband heard one of the guys mention that we wanted free food. That wasn't true we just wanted them made right since I don't like the toppings my husband picked and he doesn't like mayo. Well they made the burgers again and by now obviously the fries are cold so they were definitely going in the trash as well. They give us the burgers and my husband asked if we could have hot fries and the guy in the black apron said sure they had plenty fries but the guy in the red apron said but you already have fries and my husband said yea but they are cold. He told them we were not keeping the food we were throwing it away and when they all looked my way I showed them the bag going in the trash. He rolled his eyes at us and turned around. Never had this problem before and not sure why the attitude was given over a simple mistake. We were not angry or rude stuff happens and we were fine with waiting. But due to the behavior of the guy in the red apron and his remarks we are never going back. I ordered $30 worth of food online through the Five Guys site. 3 toppings on my burger I wanted on the side but it didn’t have that option on the site so I called after placing my order to let them know before it was made . I was sent to an automated message multiple times; after 2 rings, then 1 then no rings just straight to the message.Workers were ignoring my call on purpose. I get there to pick up my food and the store is “closed for maintenance”. They should have had this on their site! Also, if they would have answered when I called I would have known this before wasting time driving all the way there.
