I visited this place as it was recommended by an employee from Kay Jewelerās. I was approached as if I was being a bother to the person doing the greeting. I asked for the pricing for battery replacement and was quoted $15.00. The Kay person said they normally charged $8.00 but whatever. I was willing to pay the $15.00. I started to look at watch bands and the rep tells me they donāt have the original color. No problem, I will purchase a silver one @ $15.95 and a brown one for $18.95. Itās not about the money. I just wanted my watches up and running. Itās about being appreciative for the business. The lady proceeds to take the watch and the band to the back. I ask about taking out pieces to make it shorter and she says that she will adjust it once she changes the battery. Okay. Shortly she walks back out and says that the battery had started to corrode and a new mechanism would be $95.00!! Really-Really. Unbeknownst to her my father works with electronics so I know a little about corrosion on parts. They make stuff so you can clean it off and things work perfect afterwards( in most cases). Long story short..she apparently didnāt want my business that day or any other day. I wonāt be going back. Iāll take my dollars elsewhere. As a reference, I did find another jeweler in Morrow that was friendly š and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI dropped my Omega Seamaster off last week to have the bezel insert realigned. This watch was just serviced fully by Omega less than a month ago. Everything was perfect except for a tiny misalignment of the bezel. The action was perfect and fully functional. When I picked up the watch today it was obvious that a mistake was made. The bezel is now even further out of alignment and gets stuck every time I try to turn it. The gentleman who attempted to adjust my watch came out and said that the bezel has a "factory issue" and would need parts replaced. A week prior it rotated and locked perfectly as it would have straight from the boutique. He clearly made a mistake in removing or reapplying the bezel. This was made more obvious by the fact that he did not charge me the originally agreed upon $40. Likely due to the fact that he knows he has done damage to my watch. This is a $6,000 watch that was brought to a store that advertises being an Omega certified repair facility yet they have clearly damaged the watch I wear every day and have for years. This is embarrassing and simply unacceptable. I've brought my watches here for over 5 years. I have learned my lesson and will have to go elsewhere from now on. Do not bring your...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI recommend everyone to go here! David is amazing. He was very nice and professional and personable. The prices were more than fair as well. He sized the wedding ring that was my mother in lawās momās ring that she had given to me. He had it done very quick and in the same day. It turned out that I wanted it to be a little smaller, so he sized it down again without charging me and had it done the same day as well. When I went back to pick up the ring, he had replaced a stone that was missing for free as a gift because he knew the importance of the ring and knew I didnāt have the ability to size and replace a stone in the ring the same day. He had the ring looking brand new and Iām in love with it!! Definitely will return and recommend him to everyone looking...
