My husband and I popped in for ice cream on the way home. There was a young girl behind the counter helping customers that were there before we came in. There was a young boy that asked if he could help us. My husband asked for 1 scoop on a sugar cone and I asked for 2 scoops on a sugar cone. He informed us that a single is actually 2 scoops and would be both just want singles. My husband said sure. I asked if the scoops were big as i did not want it falling over my cone. The young man said "I'll put yours in a bowl with the cone" I responded and told the young man I would rather not have my ice cream in a bowl. please just keep the scoops small enough to not fall off the cone. While the young man was getting our ice cream, the young girl had finished up with the customers in front of us. They were barely out the door and the young girl starts complaining to the young man helping us about about 1/2 gallons should not be an Calder option and it was a pain.

In the past, in Lincoln Park the portions were huge, they had a great selection of flavors, and the price was well worth it. I used to tell people how great they were, now I tell them...

We bought some 2% milk and some "home made" butter. Their milk is delicious and perhaps worth the extra you pay for it. Haven't tasted the butter yet, saving it for toast in the morning. Looking forward to it. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because of the higher prices you would expect at...
