Dairy Queen Store — Restaurant in Flat Rock

Dear Dairy Queen,

I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with my experience today, March 20, 2025, at your Flatrock, MI store during the Dairy Queen National Cone Day promotion. My family and I decided to visit your establishment specifically because of the widespread advertising of this event on social media and in your stores.

Unfortunately, our visit was marred by the poor attitude of an older white female employee who attended us. When I ordered a small cone, she was exceptionally stingy with the serving and made a point of rolling her eyes at me. She continued to act rudely, mean-mugging every customer she served. Despite my generous donation, which exceeded the value of a small cone, her behavior remained unacceptable.

Came here for decades, when me and my daughter pulled up there was a lady sitting in her truck smoking. Thought nothing of it. Ordered ice cream and didn’t want to get it in the car so went walking while we ate. Immediately stopped by lady in truck saying we can’t park there. I said we were just going to eat and then come right back. She complained she only had four spots. I wonder why she parks there then? Just to chase people off as soon as they get their ice cream? She’d probably have more spots if she parked somewhere else. Just like any other Dairy Queen, except they don't have the burgers and stuff, but they do have hot dogs so you could have lunch or dinner here. They have all the ice cream treats and they do the Blizzard thing where they hold it upside down to show how thick it is.
