Dollar General — Attraction in Flat Rock

I shop here often because its convenient but my last two interactions with the lady that im assuming is the manager. She is very rude and condescending. She barked orders at the children I babysitt yelling at them telling them to "HEY EXCUSE ME HELLO ok now that i got your attention help your momma and grab these bags" mean while she stopped ringing me up making the interaction take longer because she felt the need to insert her parenting on other people's children. Those kids do not get yelled at like that by their own parents so why do you think you are entitled to speak like that to children that your not even responsible for and who were doing nothing wrong except being excited to go watch a movie and eat the popcorn and candy they picked out. Then another time I enter the store again because I need milk and the pure rudeness that embodies this woman really makes me sick to my stomach that she is in charge of other people at that store. Rude is honestly an understatement. She has this aura about her that she thinks she is better than everyone, she either hates her job or just hates the world but let her talk to me, the kids I babysitt or my kids...

Every SINGLE TIME I stop here in the morning to grab something real quick not one single employee is to be found!!! I was told this morning while waiting for the "MANAGER" I'll get there when I get there! After sitting there waiting for 5 minutes! This is by far THE WORST DOLLAR GENERAL IVE EVER BEEN TOO!!! They have 1 good employee Aikea who is the only person who is actually helpful in the whole building! Go to Rockwood dollar general if you have a choice! Update.... They fired the best employee! Right before their "renovations" a male employee cussed AT ME for asking how long they were closing for! He told me "only stupid people ask questions like that!" Go ANYWHERE...

This is not my local Dollar General, but I really like this store. Super easy and super quick in & out ... Very pleasant & helpful staff ... I've never had a problem w/needing something and the store being out of stock ... I've had a few occasions where I've carried something to the counter to purchase and the cashier asking if I had seen a similar/comparable item on the "seasonal" display table which would be 1/2 the price or BOGO of whatever I already had in my arms. I have nothing bad to say about any of the other Dollar General stores, but I have nothing but great things to say about this particular store in...
