Beautiful theater, great sound, but they need to have much better crowd control. I go to concerts to see the bands I love. I don't appreciate being bothered by drunks and when I ask "security " for help in a situation am ignored. This venue is the absolute worst when it comes to seat hopping, people running back and forth to the stage, wandering around blocking people's views, people trying to crawl onstage or pull the artists off the stage, standing on chairs, it is a total train wreck and absolutely ruins the experience. We had a drunk woman come up and sit in two empty seats in front of us. She was "dancing" which basically involved her thrashing around, nearly hitting us, knocking the chairs back into us, and just being over the top and out of control obnoxious. One of the ushers, an older gentleman (I use that term loosely) with white hair, a white beard, and thicker rimmed black glasses, was walking up the isle and she slammed into him, and instead of addressing what was clearly a very inebriated patron, he started dancing with her!!! So I leaned in and told him to please make her go back to wherever she came from because she was disturbing us, and he pretended like he couldn't understand me. He then told us that was her seat (he knew she wasn't sitting there earlier). He left, then proceeded to circle back to me to tell me I was lucky he didn't throw ME out because my hat was blocking the view of the people behind us. First off, we were the last row in that section and there was a large isle behind us so the people behind us were far enough back that it shouldn't have been an issue, and second, I WOULD HAVE BEEN SITTING DOWN IF IT WASN'T FOR THE FOOL IN FRONT OF US. Just can't recommend this place because of the atmosphere. If you have to get that wasted to have fun, go to a bar and leave us true music fans to...
Read moreI arrived late for a concert. My cousin drove separately and got to the door before I did. I was on the phone when the employees told him that the building was locked and he could not enter. My cousin said "that's crazy as we have tickets". The guy continued to deny him entry as I arrived. I asked his name, and why we could not enter. He continued to escalate and accused my cousin of being a liar. Another man came and offered to allow us into the venue, which we declined. The first guy, Harold, was rude, unprofessional and argumentative. I drove nearly an hour to see the concert and was given tickets by a veterans organization. I was very disappointed and angry to be turned away. According to the website the concert was scheduled for 90 minutes, which left appx 35 minutes left for us to enjoy. I am giving 2 stars because the phone representative Maria was very kind and helpful when I called early in the day for ADA...
