I made reservations because me and hubby were attending Tower of Power at the Capital. We entered, mostly empty, except bar area, the hostess informed us because of the concert, bar seats were available. I told her my name and that I made prior reservations at 5:30. Again, lots of empty tables. She asked if we would be ok with a high top table, we said sure. Well, the register was right next to us, and I didn't like the servers coming and going at elbows length. I then went to the hostess and said can we move, she said reservations were made for the concert and unfortunately nothing was available. Again, I'm confused, I also made reservations. I said, "well can we move to the other high top table?". She said, "someone specifically reserved that table", I kept my composure, although pissed the f off, we had already ordered an appetizer and wine. We finished and left, walked to Xolo, way better experience. So sad, because me and my hubby frequent downtown Flint a lot. Never experienced that before. I will not go where I'm...

I went here for dinner on Saturday 1/8 to celebrate a friends’ wedding The restaurant is beautiful, however the experience was not. In the midst of the Omicron variant Covid-19 surge, not a single server was wearing a face mask, not even the bartender. After ordering seltzer, I was brought a bottle of flat water and then when I asked to send it back, our waitress refused with considerable attitude since it was already opened. My salmon was over salted and over cooked. It was ordered with extra salad which did not exist. Then, In the midst of our meal, the entire restaurant was ordered by another waitress to sing happy birthday to one of the waitresses as a cake was brought out to her. It was disruptive and unprofessional. I was shocked by their brazen attitude. If someone needs to work on their birthday, i know it’s tough but it’s much more classy and appropriate if they would celebrate after work with their close friends and co workers. I did not really feel safe or even like a guest in this place. Go...

My husband and I have been coming here for years. The last couple times the service has been HORRIBLE. Last night we stopped in for a drink. We were seated outside and it took 15 minutes for the waitress to come. We ordered our cocktail and beer. 15 min went by and people who ordered drinks after us were getting theirs already(different waitress). We were about to leave when she came walking up. She set down my cocktail and said to my husband “ sorry sir, we ran out of that beer but here’s a rootbeer on the house”. So I said nevermind we are leaving. I’m not going to sit here and drink by myself plus we waited 30 minutes to even receive our 1 drink. She said I would have to pay for my cocktail anyways. She should of came and gave him the option of ordering something else. Needless to say, while she went to get my bill we just put the cash for the untouched cocktail on the table and left. Horrible business practice! Food is great but we definately won’t be back due to the most...

So so so good! My fiancé and I agree, this was our best culinary experience in Michigan (and we’ve been around the block!) Everything was clearly thought through—from the wine list to the cheese board. Beyond the food/wine, the atmosphere is lovely! It was bustling and there were clearly regular customers that revealed how well-loved this place is. I had the fish of the day (salmon with ratatouille) and my fiancé had the lamb chops. Both were prepared perfectly. Dessert was amazing as well, although I didn’t catch the name. Couldn’t recommend Cork more. Have fun!

WOW-Moment! Brie was the best server ever! She went above and beyond. And Marge the owner and chef came to chat with us and was very engaging. We had French Onion Soup which was one of the top three we’ve ever had. Also got some delicious Cuban fried pickles. For entrees we ordered Swordfish, Shrimp and Grits, Butternut Squash Lasagna and the Chicken. All of them were phenomenal! For dessert we got an unbelievably delicious Italian Lemon Cake. We were completely impressed and will definitely be back when in Flint again.
