I drove by this shop a while ago, which I had never noticed here before, and I was excited to make a trip back to check it out. My first time in this antique shop, I noted it is very crowded (things literally piled on one another), narrow aisles, and very overpriced for basically everything I looked at (compared to other antiques shops I've frequented in NKY/Cincy). I said hello to the elderly owner when I walked in and he ignored me (I thought he couldn't hear me at first), but then two other people came in a few minutes later and he said a jolly hello and had a whole conversation with them, which I found very rude. I left without purchasing anything and definitely will not be back unfortunately.
I'm sure there are some good finds in here, but it doesn't seem friendly to all patrons and with the massive amount of things piled everywhere it would be difficult to pull anything...
Read more@Mike Flaim. Let us hope and pray we are as smart, wide eyed, and full of knowledge at 91. We visited today and Mr Kelly was a pleasure to talk with. What a vast amount of history we will lose when he is gone.
The store is clean and well organized and Mr Kelly can tell you exactly where something is if you ask. I asked for a dresser set and he took me right to the selection. There are so many treasurs to be found.

The most fun part of my visit was not just looking at his stock but the pleasant visit I had with him. He is a wealth of knowledge on local N. Ky. history.
