I want to like,no I want to love this place, the food is great, the people that were working there when the place first opened were awesome, they were nice, friendly, helpful, courteous. They must have fired them,or they quit and are having issues hiring. They have this lady taking orders that is plain rude, she can't take simple orders,if you ask a question about a item on the menu she can't answer them. After finding out she helped herself to a large tip from my debit card I'm done as their customer for now. There are other places that would love my buisness in the area that are not shady like this place.I tried to call and talk to the owner or manager and got the same rude lady that takes orders that frauded my credit card receipt, she said I couldn't talk to anyone. When I confronted her about what happened she cussed at me in Spanish and hung up on me.The customers that I see dining in always have complaints.Seems they need the ladies back that used to work there that were...
Read moreFriendly staff and service. Very welcoming. The salsa was excellent. For those interested in flamed cheese or queso fundido, the chorizo cheese dip is your standard melted cheese sauce in a cup instead of a skillet of onion, tomato, and flamed cheese. Just the right amount of heat to burn and tingle the tongue yet packed with flavor. The horchata was much less creamy than I prefer and it was not as rich in cinnamon as I like. Also of note, which might just be more of a post covid issue since I have a heightened sense of smell after it, is that there was sorta an old building smell upon first entry. Not horrible and it didn't linger either, especially after the food was served. Overall however I look forward to going again and trying out the rest of the menu. I know a few in my family want to...
Read moreI feel like this place is about as authentic as you'll find in this area. I watched them press the tortillas and empanadas for our order. They have the best tacos de lengua (tongue), cabeza (head meat), and tripa (stomach), the squash blossom is amazing as well. Their house red sauce is a salsa de cacahuete (peanuts). Just as a note for anyone with a food allergy. They serve that sauce next to a green sauce made from avocado, lime, cilantro and green chilies which is amazing on the fattier tacos. Get yourself some "exotic" tacos and an agua locas to drink,...
