If it weren't for the fact that a portion of WC Handy's childhood home is attached, this wouldn't be much of a museum. Even with that feature, it still isn't a lot. A few display cases and pictures on the wall is pretty much the whole show. But standing in a portion of the preserved shack says plenty about his childhood. And the display cases do a remarkably good job of telling the man's story of achievement.
