If no star was an option I’d select it. These “professionals” were rude to just about my entire family. Completely ruined the tie ordering and then proceeded to blame it on my wife and claim she hadn’t even gotten the tie (we asked them to order for each groomsmen) from them that they gave us the first day we went into the store. After asking them to make it right they could do absolutely nothing to make it right so days before our wedding my wife and I had to hunt down ties and order them ourselves. Might I add that 9 people total missed work to go pick up these suits that they paid $200 a piece for only to find coats ordered the wrong tie and couldn’t own up to their mistakes. I also failed to mention my mother and sister left their full time jobs to go help coats fix this situation days before the wedding and we’re only treated with disrespect and straight up rudeness. It gets better, the junior groomsmen suits were never even ordered and they blamed it on someone else…. (Shocker) After my wedding they proceeded to harass the junior groomsmen parents about returning said suits asap. They also decided to call my wife on OUR HONEYMOON over the suits. I am not the one to stand behind a keyboard to type something like this unless I feel it necessary. I highly recommend any one else before you use Coates in Florence unless you want to be called a liar or feel belittled when you don’t get what you paid for. My groomsmen and I,including junior groomsmen, spent well over $2000 and still don’t have the ties we ordered and caused unnecessary stress and grief days before our wedding. Terrible Service. Got my pants in for my best friend’s wedding and they were 3 inches too short. They let them out inch and a half and I had to make it work for the wedding. When I went back to see if they could order me more or let them out more. They would not. Said because I didn’t get my measurements done there that it wasn’t their fault, and that I’d have to buy new ones. They had me down as the wrong length, I’ve known my pants length for years why would I have said it wrong more than likely they wrote it down wrong. Then even when I went back and checked my card from where I had my measurements done at he had me at a 41/42 pants. Coats had me written down at a 41/39.

My thing is that even if I spoke wrong or they wrote wrong. They had pants in store that he said they could be shorten down for me and would have been better. But he still wanted to charge to fix those pants and some of the cost of the pants. Like I didn’t just spend $300 on a that suit. He could have just fixed those to help me out and kept the other pants. Instead tried making me pay even more.

I was going to use coats for my own wedding this upcoming year because they are located in Florence where I am from. Now I will be going elsewhere due to this poor service. I recommend others due the same. The suits were nice, but if something does go wrong they will not try and help without charging...

We used Coats for our destination wedding in December 2024 for suits for groom, three groomsmen, and father of bride and groom and had an extremely poor experience.They were late on when the suits were going to be ready two times. They did not call to let anyone know, my husband had to call and ask. Due to this, one of the groomsmen was unable to travel into town in time to try on the suit before the wedding. His suit did not fit at all and the zipper busted day of the wedding.

My dad was fitted multiple times and the measurements for the pants were still not right. He had to get a local lady to fix the length of his pants a few days before the wedding due to not trusting Coats to do the job right after multiple attempts to fix.

They also mixed up the suits, and the shirts for best man and father of groom were the wrong sizes.

Do NOT recommend to anyone who wants to have suits that FIT on time...
