This was my first Escape Room experience so I don't have anything to compare it to, but I did have much more fun than I expected. My sister and I planned this experience for my mom's birthday, not realizing she's done an escape room before, however, she said her last time involved being with a group of strangers - teenagers, who made it impossible to participate and enjoy. Florence Escape Room now has all private rooms so regardless of the number of participants you still won't have to be grouped with strangers. I checked their website prior to booking to see the different options and be sure we didn't pick the most challenging room for the first time and did notice the level of challenge/teamwork was slightly different on the listing inside versus online, but it wasn't a huge difference and I don't think most people would notice. Speaking of booking online, it was incredibly easy to see which rooms had which times available and just as easy to complete a booking (even those made the day-of). We all got there with time to sign waivers for ourselves and the minor and were promptly taken back at the time booked. After looking online at all the different rooms, we chose the space-themed Atlas 8 room. With it being a total of 5 family members able to go, we were all a bit nervous about the teamwork level involved at first, but we all participated and were not only able to each find clues, but escaped with minutes left! The only thing I would warn other first-time visitors of is to know that when they tell you things are for observation only and not to pull them - don't assume observation only means simply decor. Overall, it was a great experience and I plan to go back again to escape other rooms!

This was our first escape house experience. I was skeptical about it at the beginning, but it actually turned out to be a lot of fun. It takes a clever person to understand many of the scenarios, but the challenge was really quite interesting. I'd say four to five people maximum, as any more could be crowding while searching for clues. As for the staff, everyone was friendly and helpful, and they even offer tips during the event if you become stuck and can't progress. They accept debit or credit cards, but the price is discounted when paying by cash. No forward appointment or reservation is necessary, but it helps if you'd prefer a certain room at particular time. Overall we had a great time and will definitely try a different scenario with them soon.

We took a group of Boy Scouts to do some team building and had a great time! Staff was very helpful and both groups enjoyed the rooms they were in. I’ve been to escape type rooms in other areas and this is definitely the best! We highly recommend them!

The Escape Room Florence offers a wide variety of well-themed levels with wonderful immersion. I have done the Biohazard and Atlas-8 levels now with a group of friends, and it certainly involves a large amount of strategic/analytical skills without being over-the-top difficulty. What I can say is that these rooms are SUPER thematic, from the music, to the decoration, each bit really makes you feel part of the entire experience and doing more than solving puzzles. The workers are also extremely kind and chill, so that’s a plus! Overall a...
