From what this park used to look like a few years back to what it looks like now is a major improvement. They've widen the playground area and even added some landscaping and trees for shade! It appears there are three areas for kids to play in. There's a small playground with a small slide for small children. There's even a small sand pit to play in but this part of the park is predominantly covered in mulch. There's one bigger playground which looks like the older and active kids could play around in. The swings on the other side are nice and low to the ground. One of the swings is the kind with a net where little kids could lie down on, just make sure they are being supervised. A neat addition are their 2 xylophone things that are very interactive. There are 4 benches which are situated in a circle so parents can view the park in whichever their children are playing. I noticed 2 picnic benches that are perfect to have snacks or a simple lunch with the kiddos.
You've got a nice open field where kids or dogs could run around in, play ball or frisbee. And you saw that right. Pets are ALLOWED!! Just be sure to pick up after them. Plastic bags are provided for your convenience. They have a small parking lot for those traveling to this park by car.
