Both parents and kids enjoyed our trip to Englewood’s Pop Culture Antique Museum. This is a great place if you are in the area and looking for something different to do. Admission is free, donations welcome! The owner is friendly and enjoys sharing his treasures. Many of the items are available for sale if you are looking to bring home a souvenir. #familyof4travel #englewoodflorida #floridatravel #sarasota #popculture #collectible #

Wild place. Definitely a do not miss. If you feel home among the bizarre and totally weird, you'll love this place. Absolutely worth the hour and fifteen minute drive from Fort Myers. I enjoy antiquing and this is a place like no other. Nostalgia meets macabre meets american pop culture. Just an incredible array of collectibles, media, and trinkets from childhood. Oh and if you do find something you want to buy (that the owner's willing to relinquish), fair pricing and never felt pressured or oversold. Anyone who shares an affinity to the oddities of American culture over the last 70-80yrs, you'll be in good company. Prepare for a trip.

This place was such a good time! A must see on any visit to the area. I could have spent hours there, and I loved that it's part museum, part store. "Not sure what's for sale and what's just on display? Just ask!" 1/2 the fun was wandering the space with the proprietor while he excitedly showed you one interesting thing after another. I would totally go back again, next time to find some nostalgic gifts for loved ones. There are some real treasures here, and the items that were available for purchase were surprisingly affordable. We all came away with some fun memorabilia.

Rick met us at the door and was extremely kind and welcoming. It almost had the feel of Captain Spaulding from house of 1000 corpses inviting you into a horror museum. But filled with retro electronics, literally thousands of retro video games, scifi stuff from the 50s all the way until today, wrestling memorabilia, movie history and even pinball machines. You are under absolutely no pressure to buy anything Rick's only goal is for you to have a wave of nostalgia and save some kittens along the way. If you do decide you want anything his prices are extremely fair and he's such a nerd that he personally connects with whatever Fandom you are a part of and almost guides you toward the treasures that fit your Interest. I spent 3 hours there and felt like I only saw about 10% of what was there but left with some star trek stuff, some sega genesis games a few comicbooks and an amazing experience. I can't wait to go see him again and dig deeper into this...

We saw a Facebook post and decided to stop by and check out this place. So many amazing antique collectables to look at. All sorts of items like Old toys and dolls, gaming systems and board games, phones, computers, baseball cards, movies and music, magazines, and Soo Soo much more. We definitely enjoyed it. Brings you back down memory lane. The owner was very friendly and funny and gave us a little tour around the shop. Loved the life-size clowns display also. I would recommend everyone who loves antique memorabilia to definitely check this place out. Free to enter and look around but donations are greatly...
