Stater Bros. Markets — Attraction in Fontana

Every visit for me sucks! But this one out did them all! I was on my phone making sure I had everything I needed with my husband. The cashier Michelle which my receipt says she's a manager.... hmmm... Well she greeted me as I did back. As I am finishing emptying my cart another employee asks paper or plastic. I answer plastic is fine please. As I am still on my phone I hear the employee tell the cashier Michelle "Whatever" as Michelle agrees with her saying "I know I'm like the same way" ... you lady's we're obviously bothered the fact I am on my phone... as I tell my husband I will call you back , they decide to start a full on convo right upfront of me. Michelle asking the employee how old is her brother now.... I mean really.... I got the hint... your a Manager.. you are an employee.... I am the CUSTOMER! A little more patience is a must! But seriously you lady's did not have to make it uncomfortable for me to pay... you lady's know who you are. You bagged my groceries and you look at me with the most hypocritical smile saying there you go... I mean how rude! Such a shame since its the closest Stater to my...

Not a good shopping experience at all. My first time shopping g at this supermarket and to my luck I got a really bad rickety shopping cart that I couldn't continue to push around so I decided to go and switch over my few groceries I managed to get so far and switch over to a new cart. I was stopped at the door and my cart was held and I was asked for my receipt. They thought I was trying to walk out of the store with 4 items in my cart and shoplift. I explained that I had a damaged cart and needed another one. Granted I wasn't anywhere near the exit door. I was so offended and angry. I requested to speak to a manager and he just blew it off. I will never ever walk into this Stater Bros store again. It was humiliating and offensive. Find a different approach on a ski g the customer what it is they need and how they can help before accusing people of stealing right if the bat. Everyone there was very rude and disrespectful. The gal who held my cart and asked for my "receipt" kept giving me dirty looks when I was finally at the check stand PAYING for my groceries. First and last time...

It's funny your commercials pride yourself on your meat dept. We have been shopping at this store for over 9 years and any contact with your "butchers" has been unsatisfactory. Just yesterday I asked for some Carne Asada not marinated (mind you I was the only customer and was told it would be a minute, while he cleaned a machine and there were 2 other butchers just standing and talking). Very rudely I was told there was some already prepackage. No there was not and why even if there was could the butcher not package me some from the Meat Counter. Is this not what they get paid for???? Not only is the butcher counter customer service poor, the cashiers are awful with the exception of Jessie, he is the most friendless one you have. He is always cheerful and speedy, the rest of your crew could take lessons from him. It's sad that I like your quality of fruits and veggies and you have some really good sales but dang I really hate going to this one. I may need to look for another supermarket to shop even if it means going...
