Really nice new park! They have a walking path that marks distance walked. The start dot is on the Santa Ana Ave side of the park (small brass circle on the sidewalk that says START). To follow the markers you have to walk eastward (towards Juniper Ave) and go around the fields. There is a 1/4 mile marker on the south side of the park and a 1/2 mile marker just a few feet away (west) from the Start marker. Then go around one more time and the 1 mile marker is on the Cypress Ave side. I use a running app and technically if you start at the START dot and walk around twice and end at the START dot you have walked 1.10 miles roughly. I love the exercise equipment which is all based on your own weight (counterbalanced on your own weight). The kids play area is amazing! They have nice tables and the restrooms are nicely maintained.
