El Chilitos Mexican Restaurant Review:
El Chilitos Mexican Restaurant is a delightful little gem that consistently impresses with its authentic flavors and warm, friendly atmosphere. Each visit to this cozy establishment is a reminder of how great food and welcoming staff can turn a simple meal into a memorable experience.
The restaurant's hard shell tacos are particularly noteworthy. They strike the perfect balance of crispy texture and rich, savory filling, making them an absolute must-try. Equally remarkable is the carnitas plate, bursting with flavors that are both deep and satisfying, showcasing the culinary expertise behind each dish.
Another standout is the Albóndiga soup. It's a comforting concoction, perfect for any day, with its flavorful broth and hearty meatballs. It's the kind of dish that warms you from the inside out, reflecting the homely essence of the restaurant.
However, the real highlight for me is their chips paired with the spicy sauce, which is distinct from their regular salsa. This combination is a personal favorite, featuring crispy, fresh chips and a uniquely zesty, spicy sauce that adds an exciting kick to the start of any meal.
In conclusion, El Chilitos is more than just a restaurant; it's a culinary haven where each dish is prepared with care and served with a smile. Whether you're a local or just passing by, it's a place that beckons with the promise of a delicious,...
Read moreI've been here a few times with my family and the food is good. I really like the chicken quesadilla. I also enjoy the carne asada burrito but personally I find it a little odd that cheese is added to it. This is the first restaurant that I've seen do that to a carne asada burrito. The food is an overall 5 for me but the I'm giving three stars because when my mom ordered a carne asada burrito by phone and told them exactly what she did not want on it (like no beans, salsa, cheese). They messed up the order, which is no problem because we are human and we make mistakes. We called the restaurant and they made a new one the way she wanted. What I didnt like was when I got there the cook kept asking the waitress/cashier what's wrong with it immediately and he came up to me and told me next time to not order it with cheese and I explained to him that my mom did tell then no cheese the first time. He told me again and seemed angry but he wasnt rude. That's the only thing I didnt like which made the restaurant lose one star for me but overall if you want good Mexican food this is a good...
Read moreHave been going here for years. Always had great food and service. Unfortunately, the past few times we've gone, we get this same waitress with the same attitude. Just rude and a little smart allick when answering our questions. Didn't really phase us because the food was so great. Two nights ago when we went on 6-29-19. Got the same waitress and my chillen relleno monster burrito I always get was horrible. Had an odd smell and tasted like how a dirty dishrag would taste. I'm not sure if it was caused from the plate being washed and they didn't dry it but it was not the same burrito I've been getting for over 5yrs. As we were walking out a group of lady's were sitting near the door and one of them left their shrimp because she said it was nasty and too hard. So I'm not sure if it was because we all went in the last hr before they closed but you should always cook with a great effort no matter what. It was very disappointing. This was our...
