Saturday was my first time visiting Torched Barre and I will definitely say the parking sucks! And The female at the cash register wasn’t friendly at the least!!! So at that point I wasn’t sure what to think.🤔 so once I signed inn and payed $20( witch is a little pricey for a first time visitor) and $ 3 to rest a yoga mat I was on my way. Waiting to meet my two friends who were joining me for the first time as well Teresa one of the yoga instructor introduced her self to me which I thought was very nice and she let me know what I would expect and for me just to take my time and enjoy the class and if I needed anything to let her know. Read moreTorched Barre with Lauren is a blast. Her cues are very clear and she reads the class well. This is an intense workout that concentrates on small muscle groups. I am pushing sixty and I have to rest occasionally, which is totally fine. You will feel it the next day. Hell, I felt it the same day, but it was worth it--excellent full body workout.
I love my yoga classes at Bikram and this an excellent complementary practice. Some folks bring small weights and resistance bands for a few sequences, but they are not necessary when you start. I struggle enough...
