This is a spectacular venue. Scenery, stage and seating are above most places of this type. Everything I see is clean and the landscaping is beautiful and nicely maintained. The park itself is a dream come true in every area. I came to the POPs to watch a Lynard Skynyrd tribute band called Tuesday's Gone. I'd enjoyed watching them perform once before so this gave me the opportunity to see them again. They had Artimus Pyle (one of the members of Skynyrd band) as a guest drummer tonight. The lead singer is unequivocally the star of the show. He has the look and the movements but most importantly the unique vocals that came out of Ronnie Van Zant. Free Friday night concerts and family movies during the summer, festivals, Santa visits, and not 1 but 2 spalshpads (1 large, 1 small, the large is typically shut off during events available during the summer months. The large splash pad in particular had some issues and needed maintenance multiple times last summer and the prices of concessions during events are a bit high.
