This is the 1st attraction or space I mention to newcomers and visitors. Free Friday night concerts and family movies during the summer, festivals, Santa visits, and not 1 but 2 spalshpads (1 large, 1 small, the large is typically shut off during events available during the summer months. The large splash pad in particular had some issues and needed maintenance multiple times last summer and the prices of concessions during events are a bit high. These are the only drawbacks I have noticed. There are handicap accessible bathrooms on both sides of this facility and the entire POPS area is gated.

Charming little city! Fantastic outdoor venue to see music performances and . Terraced amphitheater featuring covered breezeway with comfortable porch swings, public restrooms, concessions, and all threaded with planted, paved walks. Impressively located adjacent to restaurants, pubs, and antique shops. City offers a thriving central business district with a greenway sidewalk centering the main street, free parking and access to a nice park and a network of paved bicycle trails. Very safe place to stroll and enjoy the sidewalk features, fountains and friendly people!

We've visited the splash pad here on numerous occasions. There is a big pad for older kids, and a smaller one for toddlers. Be sure to check the hours to make sure they're going to be open. There are also a lot of nice swings that overlook the pavilion. There are many nice, shaded picnic tables as well. During the summer, they have a lot of fun events, including free family movies. This is an excellent place to have fun with your family.

This is a spectacular venue. Scenery, stage and seating are above most places of this type. Everything I see is clean and the landscaping is beautiful and nicely maintained. The park itself is a dream come true in every area. I came to the POPs to watch a Lynard Skynyrd tribute band called Tuesday's Gone. I'd enjoyed watching them perform once before so this gave me the opportunity to see them again. They had Artimus Pyle (one of the members of Skynyrd band) as a guest drummer tonight. The lead singer is unequivocally the star of the show. He has the look and the movements but most importantly the unique vocals that came out of Ronnie Van Zant. The musicians on stage know what they are doing and get the sound of Allen, Gary, Bob and Larry. This band makes you feel like you are going back through time and watching and listening to the real...

They have a splash park for kids and adults in summer time... watch your kids play around and bring you a chair to sit in to let the water cool you off too... and free movies to watch on certain nights and it is free if charge and a very safe and nice place to go and hang out with kids and whoever...it is within walking distance of every thing in forest city ...they have bunches to sit on ...it is like a stadium to watch free concerts and stuff..the farmers market is right across the street from it and it has a gated fence all the way around it...Forest City is the...
