I called on 6/30 to order a banana cream pie for my birthday on 7/1. It was 24 hour notice but they required a 48 hour notice for off menu orders. They asked if a rush charge added to the cost would be ok and i obliged. I picked up my pie the next day and brought it home. It was not until later that evening when i sliced into it for dessert only to find it had not set properly and it spilled out like soup! I called the next morning to talk with the head chef and she was fallen back as to the outcome of the final product when i described what happened. She was very quick to reimburse me the rush fee and remake the dessert from the beginning using a custom recipe she put together herself. Not only did the new pie LOOK amazing but that first bite sent me through the stratosphere with how wonderful the texture was to my pallet and the delicate flavor of banana in the filling mixed with the fresh whipcream and sliced banana topping! She also gave me a mini berry cheese cake ( which i gave to my wife as a surprise) was also delicious! I have heard so many great reviews and today got to try it. I ordered the blueberry, orange, and lavender scone. I love scones! I love good scones, however, this was the worst scone I have ever had. It was heavy, greasy, and the flavor was just terrible. I thought, well, it's after 4pm, so maybe it's not so fresh, but they stay open until 9pm, so not a good excuse. The scone appears to be undercooked pie crust dough, layered together. I have had lavender in foods before but this was not blueberry, orange, and lavender . It tasted like sausage! I almost gaged. My mom tried it and she laughed, saying that it taste exactly like sausage and ask had I gotten the wrong order. My 5 year old son tasted it and agreed. Sausage. It went in the trash. I didn't see a very good variety of pies and none of the artisan bread I had heard they now served. I bake and will stick with my own scones. I realize every baker has a bad day but those shouldn't have been served. The texture alone...

We were in the area doing other items when this place caught our eye. The front does not do the inside justice. Really cool safe in the background looks like it used to be a bank and it’s instantly heaven when you smell all the backing aromas inside. They had a wide selection of cookies, muffins, pies, and cake cakes. They also serve coffee. It’s a perfect spot if you want to eat, have a snack, hang out with the family and kids or your four-legged children outside. I have to admit we were overwhelmed and didn’t know what to get so we started off with a chocolate chip cookie and an Oreo cheesecake.
