Circle B BBQ — Restaurant in Spindale

When we entered the restaurant, we were the only ones there at first. The woman and young man that served us, were friendly. My wife asked for half and half tea and she was told there was no unsweetened tea. My wife and son wanted the brisket plate and were both told only available for sandwich. I ordered hushpuppies and never received them, actually none of us did. I thought hushpuppies automatically came with barbecue. The food did come in good timing. My wife took a bite of her sandwich that was on wheat bread and could not eat no more. Too salty and very dry with burnt pieces all in it. I ordered the barbecue pork plate and mine was burnt and very dry as well. I didn't order fries, and received fries. I ordered sweet tea and it tasted very old. Not good at all. I asked for pepsi after that. Never received ticket to pay. My wife went to pay for it and she was asked how was everything and she did say that it was not good at all, but said , it will be ok. My wife doesn't never complain and was just dealing with it. The guy never asked my wife what was the complaint, just kept ringing up the food and the owner was there talking to someone instead of going around asking how everything was with everyone. Just a lot to improve on. Definitely not trying to come on here to criticize, but I definitely feel like the owner/owners need to know, to be able to address and improve to succeed. My wife was wanting some good barbecue and hushpuppies and she was disappointed and had never been to this restaurant before. I suggest that all plates should be looked at before being served to ask yourself , "is it representable enough to eat"? I hope this...

My sister-in-law had her wedding yesterday and this unprofessional place “catered” it. They dropped the food off that’s it!! No serving utensils, no way to keep the food warm, and guests had to set the food up. The bridal party took a few pictures after the ceremony which led to the guests setting up the food. When we walked into the reception the bride and groom’s plate were made immediately, then everyone made their plates. Thankfully the people who own the venue and had a few utensils we could use. Needless to say the food was cold. Then she received a call today wondering where the food was because they came to the venue to pick it up. I work just down the road from this place. Finally thought I'd give it a try in spite of the warnings of my coworkers. We looked up the menu online which had prices listed on it called and ordered the food. Ordered the brisket basket comes with a side and on the online menu it said it was $10 which I thought was a really good price. Got down there to pay for it and it was 18 something. I thought okay I'll give it a try took my food back to where I work open it up it was pitiful absolutely pitiful. The brisket was pretty much flavorless and leathery.
