Vinomondo Winery & Tasting Room — Attraction in Fort Gratiot Charter Township

Great place for wine tasting. Small room in the back where you are seated with other parties. Small appetizers are included such as fruit, cheese tortellini, salmon pate, etc, almost a whole meal! Only $10 for 10 wines! The man who ran our tasting was interesting...all of the staff is very friendly though! Chose a wine to be bottled for ourselves and come back about 8 weeks later. We were shown how to do the whole process on our own-cleaning bottles, filling, corking, foiling, and labeling! Each batch makes about 28 bottles. Took sister here to make her own wine. Met Pat!!! He is amazing. This experience was incredible. He made us feel right at home and comfortable. We are not wine experts and he treated us with lots of respect. Taught us a lot about wine. We had been all over from jackson mi to traverse to do tastings but this was most fun and informative.
